Situated at the base of Ben Nevis, Britain's highest mountain at 4406ft, Glen Nevis stretches for 11 miles and is considered by geologists to be one of the world's finest glaciated valleys. Gentle grassy banks by the River Nevis lead to narrow gorges and high waterfalls - making for stunning and dramatic scenery.

Being Human, Braveheart, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Highlander III, Kidnapped, Restless Natives, Rob Roy, Quest for Fire and Rockface have all been filmed in and around the area. As you travel through the glen look out for the wire bridge at Steall Falls, situated a tthe head of Glen Nevis, the Lower Falls and the Vitrified Fort.
