Camusdarach Beach

The beaches here are wonderful and have the added advantage of having large sand dunes for the children to explore in. The views out to the Small Isles of Eigg, Muck and Rum are glorious and are to be especially enjoyed when the sun is setting. The beaches here were made famous by the Burt Lancaster film Local Hero, and also feature in Highlander I, Rob Roy, Breaking the Waves and Hamish Macbeth.
